Ive pulled three codes from the computer. they are :172, 181, 189 . Ive tried to run them on the corral's decoder but it says they 'arent found', but im pretty confident that at least the last two are indicating a lean condition. ...?...

The car stumbles around town and is way below what i feel it should be on power. I know its no speed demon, being a big fat convertible and all, but she isnt as speedy as i know she can be.

It seems as though its running a restrictor plate, if you know what i mean, seems like she wants to go, but is ever so slightly jerky in acceleration. you can feel the non-smoothness under heavy accel. she makes all sorts of growl, but i think if i lined up with a snail, it would laugh me off.

Also, when shifting gears, it doesnt rev down. Its stays at the same rev point or jumps up a bit for a second or two betwwen shifts and then slowly drops to idle after a rev and clutch-in. Dont know if this could be a contributing factor.

Heres what i have done in the last month to attempt to solve the problem myself.

1. New plugs
2. New cap and rotor
3. New ACT sensor
4. new air filter
5. Ran higher octane fuel
6. Disconnected battery and reset computer
7. Set timing to 14 degrees
8. Cleaned Maf
9. Checked fuel pressure (good @ idle- 36psi)
10. Visually inspected all intake seams, no leaks to be seen.

All of this had Zero effect on her. Any ideas?

those are all o2 sensor codes,

189--HEGO- not switching sensor indicates lean condition duringpart throttle engine operation bank 1

172-HEGO sensor voltage indicates lean on bank #1
181--hego sensor not switching sensor indicates lean condition duringpart throttle engine operation bank 2

roughly what the code book says
