Help with 96-98 gauge cluster?

Okay I bought a 96-98 gauge cluster, what do I have to do to make it work. I hooked it up and when I turn on the car it lights up and everything but then slowly dims out. Also it did stay lit(very dim though) for about 2 mins and then just turned off. Also the rpms do not work. Thanks guys

so the 96-98 cobra/GT wire up the same. I shall try.
