I did a tranny swap on a 86 GT, I used the parts from a wrecked 87 to do the swap. I have everything done except for the wiring for the clutch pedal switch, I cannot find the wiring harnesses for it anywhere in the car. I have been looking for days and have unwrapped the main harness. Does anyone know if the wiring is different on a 86? I have the picture from one of the tech articles with the green wires and red wires. I found the one for the quadrant switch with no trouble. Maybe that's the only one used on a 86? Could they be under the carpet or behind the kick panel somewhere?

Did you find the one under the dash with the jumper in it?
If so leave the jumper in and you dont have to worry about finding anything else . You will just have to remember to push your clutch in when starting . no biggie .
