help with CAI mod

Basically, the dude who had the '88 before me put the K&N filter on there, and eliminated the stock airbox. I'm done searching ebay trying to find the stock pieces to put back on, and I'm not going to have the car long enough to make buying one of the mac or bbk non-mass air CAI's worth it.

I have the open element type deal.. I want to remove the filter, and find a piece of tubing that I can attach to the end of the tube, have it run down a little bit, then bend in to the hole in the fenderwell, where I'll attach the filter. Does anybody know of a good place (I'm thinking perhaps home depot?) I could buy the tubing from?

I saw a thread a little while back where somebody had a piece of black tubing that looked very OEMish.

Might want to search for a Moroso intake kit. Looks like a stock piece and will put the filter in the fenderwell where you want it.

The whole point of the thread was that I'm not going to buy a whole new CAI.. I'm looking for just a black piece of pipe I can use, and am asking where people get just the black piping from.

check home depot or lowes in their plumbing section. take the original pipe and the filter to make sure they fit. i did it on my car and it works great
