Help with cruise control

1. Does your horn work?
2. Do your brake lights work?
3. There is an emergency release vacuum dump valve above the brake light switch which is activated by the arm that the brake pedal is attached to. Findit. Plug the vac. line with a pencil and see if the cruise works. Come back and I'll explain how to adjust it.

My cruise doesn't work either. Brake lights work but horn DOES NOT work. All fuses inside are okay.

Horn problemcould be relay or clockspring. Up under the center of your dash near the warning chime is the horn relay. When you press the horn button, you shoule hear a faint click. Or you can pull the connector and see if there is power to the LB/W wire all the time (connector off). Also if the DB wire has power when the horn button is pressed(connector on). Or if the Y/LG wire shows continuity to ground with the horn switch pressed(connector off). What does this have to do with the speed control? The speed control "ON" switch picks up the power to turn it on from the Y/LG wire.
