Help with emblem

Okay so I am new to mustangs. I recently bought a 1995 GT convertible in good body shape interior isnt the greatest and i need injectors.....but for $900 i am not going to complain. My question is a simple one. The part that mounts the emblem to the car is broken, the pony is fine but the plastic part that mounts it to the car is destroyed. Where do i find this piece to repair it? I still have my pony, and i painted it black. Or can this piece even be bought?

Or an auto wrecker yard.

Why do you think you need injectors? Seems strange as injectors are the least likely of all the things to be changed. You should give yourself a base line tune. Filters (gas and air), plug wires, plugs, cap and rotor. Also, clean the MAF sensor.

The whole black plastic piece that goes across the front of the car where the emblem, headlights, and radiator cover attach to is the header panel.

Is this what the OP (BaylorBear) is talking about, or is he talking about the bracket that comes off the back of the pony and attaches to the header panel?

I've never seen a plastic bracket for the front emblem, all the ones I've seen are metal. I'd lay odds that BaylorBear is taking about the header panel. The eBay ones are all fine, they'll fit without a problem. The main issue is that you'll have to remove the front bumper cover, the headlights and taillights to replace the header panel. Then you will likely have to align the headlights. You can do all this yourself, it's not really that hard. But is it worth it just so you have the pony emblem in the grille? That's up to you.
