Whats up guys I'm new to the site and just picked up a 5.0, I had a 93 a few years ago and loved it.

Now Ive picked up a 89 Notch with the following mods:
56k original miles 5.0/T-5
Windsor Jr. iron Heads with ford motorsports roller rockers.
Vortech Upper/lower intake
Edelbrock 70mm Throttle body and EGR spacer
edelbrock shorty headers with stock cats and flowmaster mufflers

I'm would like to finish the setup by doing the following:
BBK longtube headers and Uncatted BBK H-pipe with dumped flowmasters (already have all this)
Some sort of Cam? I was thinking a B-cam would this work with my setup? If not what cam would?
24lb injectors and Maf sensor
Then finish it off with a Tune from Fastlane

I'm hoping to make somewhere around 300rwhp from this.

Any opinions appreciated.

Thanks

300rwhp with those heads is a little optimistic.

How much lift are your valve springs rated for? If under .500, the B and the E would probably be your best bets.

If you can go over .500, take a look at the TFS Stage 1. I've been happy with mine.

If you want to get to 300HP or close to it then look into getting a little more aggressive cam. Anderson Ford Motorsport has the N/A cams, look at those. Look into a custom cam by Ed Curtis, provide him your mods and goals. If you have to get an off the shelf cam the TFS Stage 1 is better (split duration) than the alphabet cams.

You're right on track with the exhaust mods. The stock H-pipe is holding performance back a bit. If you need 24lb injectors get them, might as well get a big mass air meter to match while you're at it.
