Hey guys and ladies, said in no paticular order,
I just installed new Sun Pro mechanical gauges, I need some help with the correct numbers. My setup is for the engine, Cold air intake in the engine bay, largest aftermarket air filter that could fit, 75mm TB, Granetelli Upper intake, 1 inch TB spacer, and half inch lower intake spacer, catch can from both valve covers, what would be the correct reading from the vacum gauge? Idles about 21 hg, and 0 wide open throttle!
I have a new gator belt, when I put that on the stock volt meter shot up a tad, when running it reads 14 volts unless the ligts are on.
I have a 180 degree thermostat that reads about 178 on the water temp gauge.
Do these sound like I hooked them up right?

The vacuum reading is correct. Your car will remain in vacuum until you give it enough throttle in which it will eventually reach zero. When boosting you will see it go from 20Hg in vacuum then immediately past zero into whatever boost you are at. In terms of the water temp gauge it seems to be running fine. You will get a better idea of it when you drive for a longer amount of time in the city.

14 volts is fine for system voltage, the alternator puts out more than your battery so it can charge it. if it gets up above 14.5 or 15 volts i might start to worry and look into stuff though. no clue on the faint beeping
