Help with smog pump/311 code diagnosis PLEASE

My car was on the dyno recently and the tuner said that it seemed to be running lean. After coming off the dyno, it would sometimes miss and sputter a little at high rpms. It didn't do it in 3rd gear on the dyno out of 16 pulls.

After getting home I pull a 311 code. I found that the green hose going from the smog equip to my EGR was broken in half. I fixed and took it one tes run and it didn't do it. But it's been so sporatic, I'm not sure if that was the problem.

Could this be enough of a vacuum leak to give me the syptoms I explained above???

Disconnect the battery, let it sit for 2 minutes, then reconnect and drive the car for 10-20 minutes. Run the codes again and see if it's still there! My guess is that you fixed the problem!

Can someone tell me if there would be adverse affects of the green hose not being connected at the EGR if I was still using all the other AIR and smog equipment???
