HELP WITH SPRINGS?

Both H&R and FRPP both make good springs. I don't think you could go wrong with either.

Progressive rate springs get progressivly stiffer as they compress. Specific rate stay the exact same rate regardless of compression.

For the money and performance improvement I would go with the "B" springs.

They are progressive rate.

I just put FMS B springs on my '90 LX, and I'm pretty happy with them. My last 5.0 came with lowering springs, which I thought were B springs, but that car was much stiffer than my current car. The progressive springs give you a better ride, and then stiffen up when you start to push them in a corner.

If it's going to stay a DD, I'd probably get the B springs. If you buy something too stiff, it's going to beat the crap out of you on your commute. Some people don't mind that though.
