I recently purchased a Saleen/Vortech intake. The lower that was included has no provision for the PCV valve, so it must be an older Ford truck part? My question is, I know that the Systemax lower will work, but they are $$$ 350+. What is the Ford part #, and/or what years F150 truck intake will work? I know that all that Saleen did was use the Ford part, in most cases actually grinding the Ford part # off of the manifold!! Thanks for your help.

edit: Has anyone ever 'added' the bung for the PCV valve? It doesn't look like it would be too difficult, for someone who welded aluminum?

the stock mustang intake wont match up the saleen upper he's using.

i would think all the 302 lowers off of 87-96 f-series would work, afaik the only thing changing in the engine bays through those years was the change to mass-air in 96, which would have nothing to do with anything past the tb.

Bump.

Somebody told me that none of the truck intakes cames with the PCV provision. Surely this can't be true. Somebody out there must know the answer to my question. Thanks.

My dad's F150 had the PCV hole in the lower intake... THE EGR was external like a 95 Mustang if I remember though... Damn too bad the truck is in the junk yard, I would have checked it for ya
