I am installing Trick flow twisted wedge heads and Track flow intake on a 95 GT.
1. What about the egr valve...there is no provision to install it, what have you done?

2. in removing the stock heads, the one piece bracket for the alternator and air pump, there is one bolt behind the tensioner arm that I can't get to. Is it ok to remove the tensioner by the torx bolt, will the spring fly out???

3.Can you use stock length push rods with these heads. I just want to be prepared before starting the install.

Do you have the 94-95 intake adapter for that intake? I think the EGR adapter is on there.

You're going to need to roller rockers (stud mount) and pushrods. Trick Flow suggests a 6.75 length pushrod wich is a little longer then stock.

Are you using the stock cam?

1. You need a 94-95 TB elbow adapter, the EGR connects there.

2. Yes, you can remove the tensioner with the torx bolt.

3. No, you can not use the stock pushrods, you need longer and hardened pushrods for TW heads. Contact Summitt's tech line for more info on that.

Yes, you will need to take the tensioner off by the center bolt holdingit on, I can't remeber if thats a torx bolt or not. Then you cant get to the other bolt on the bracket. The EGR bung will be on the elbow adapter for the intake,. or you can just block it off if you want.

BTW- I just did a headswap and it can be very intimidating. Just read all the directions a couple times, take your time, and if you aren't sure about something post it here. Good luck!

Thanks for the fast response, I did not get the 94/95 adapter, but will. The push rods I will also order, also have a C&L cold air intake for the 95, thought it might have to bolt up to the adapter, or it would be too short.
Using stock cam, but got 1.7 crane rockers. Do I use thread lock on the head rocker studs???

The Trick Flow heads come with detailed instructions and a list of recommended parts. If you don't have that, I'm at work now and can fax it to you.

I do have all the Trick flow instructions, BTW, I have done a couple of head swaps before, just never used trick flows or alumine heads, so i was not sure about using lock tite on the rocker studs, and thanks again to all the responses. This is what makes this site so great.
