Help with valve cover/roller rocker clearance- pics inside!!!

Ok, I bought these valve covers on Ebay and intend on installing them when I do my GT40P heads in the spring- they came with no oil baffle cover and I am in the process of grinding off all the little nipples on the underside of the covers (as you can see from the photo #2- my question is will 1.6 RR fit on the heads with these covers- IF I am correct they should since they do not have the "ribs" along the walls- Can anyone confirm to me if they think I will have any problems

and is the clearance issues on the sides of the valve covers or on the roof of the valve covers when dealing with roller rockers?

for comparison you will see from the below pic what I think causes clearance issues- the ribs- since mine are void of those ribs then I will have enough clearance- if I am wrong someone please tell me-
