I'm thinking of a few different combinations - any opinions on which. I'll probably go with Americans, Billet Specialties or Boyds, but that doesn't matter right now because I can't decide what size rims or tires to go with. What do you think of these combos:

17X8 Rear with 255/45/17 tires
16X8 Front with 245/45/16 tires OR

16X8 Rear with 245/50/16 tires
16X8 Front with 225/50/16 tires OR

?

Thanks guys

dont use a 255/45/17 on the rear, the prifile might be too tall, IMO use a 40 series.

Yeah I have 17x8 all around with 255/40/17 out back and 235/45/17 up front. My 40 series seems to be good. I just made a post showing them.

Has anybody ran this size in the rear with clearance issues? Any pics? I know most guys run the 255/40 , but it seems that just a little more meat would look pretty sweet.

I just looked at your post - I like those stars - matter of fact I like them better than the fast lanes. You made the right choice. Do you have any pics of the whole car with those rims?
