I tried to do a search on the site, but didn't come up with any definite answer on what offset wheels to get. I am about to purchase a set of wheels, but I don't want to get the wrong offset, the main reason I am getting wheels is because the stock wheels are inside the body and it looks crappy.

What is the right offset for the back? I am looking at 18X8.5 or 18X9.5 wheels, my car is also lowered I don't want to have problems with tires rubbing.

Also what is the right offset for the front?

Thanks!

PS : I am not getting factory wheels, I am going with aftermarket wheels and that is why I really need to know the offset.

Any offset between 22 and 26mm will work fine with those sizes.

Do you have any pictures of how the car looks with that offset wheels?

Would 45mm stick out too much?
45mm would actually be tucked in too much. Lower the number the more the tires stick out. The Saleen 18x9's are 24mm offset, and the 03 cobra/AFS 03 Cobra replicas are 26mm.

Here's mine with 26mm 18x9 (front wheel is dead in line with the fender)

Thanks for the info. So if I get these wheels in the 22-26 offset range, they will be most likely be curved in like the one in the picture, as opposed to having the spokes not curved and straight?

Yeah, they will stay close to the fender within that range. If the offset is 27+ in front with an 18x9 you could see some rubbing. I have a slight tire rube with 265's in front on hard full lock turns.
