I have a 1985 Mustang with central fuel injection. Under load or wot it seems as if it putts and shoots a mist of fuel into the throttlebody.
I was thinking it was the timing or a mix up with some wires. Previously i had a fuel injector leak but it seems i have that under control now after i replaced the seals. The guy i got the car off said he had changed the wires and did the timing but it was set wrong. ( car would die after putting it into gear ) I adjusted the timing without a gun in hopes to make it run a little better. It goes into gear but when i rev it, it putts and shoots a mist of fuel into the tb.. I need to find a way to get this car driveable asap! My apartment wants to tow it because i havent been driving it, ive been trying to get everything straight first.
Any opinions i thank you in advance!
