In all my magazones, I see the engine, and the spark plug wires are run uniformally out of the dist. to the plugs; all parallel to one another. Mine criss cross in the normal ford 289 firing order.

What is the difference?

Do they have a cam that changes the firing order allowing the 4 wires on the right go to the right side of the dist and same f4 the left or what?

Some one used to make a distributor cap that allowed that. They still might, I don't know. Try Accell or Mallory for it.

it's called a Cross-Fire cap or something like that. it looks cool, but i don't know if i'd trust it at high rpm due to spark scatter.
