Hesitation In Early 2nd & 3rd Gear

Hey guys! I've just recently done a couple of modifications to the notch (last summer) and it is hesitating for about a second or so in early 2nd and 3rd gear. Of course it's most noticable when I'm in the gas. I switch out of 1st and I'm into 2nd at about 2500 rpms or so and hesitates until about 3,000 rpm. Same with 3rd. Weird... feels sorta like a mild turbo 4 cyl car


It didn't do this until I put these on:

70 or 75mm (can't remember) accufab throttle body
76mm C&L maf sensor
e-fan


At first I thought the clutch was slipping but it seems fine in 5th gear when I stomp it from about 45-55 mph and it doesn't slip. I'm starting to think that maybe it's running too lean

Anybody else had that problem? I've got the stock 3.08 gears in it right now. I have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and fuel pressure guage I can get back from a friend

I would get that fuel pressure guage back from your friend and see what u got

May be your C&L . did you use the stock airbox or do you have a CAI?
how is your MAF orientated? straight up and down . You may need to "clock" your maf .
