The last week or so when I hit 3rd gear my car hesitates pretty bad. 1st and 2nd gear are fine. All I got done to the engine is cobra intake 65mm throttle body 24lb injectors so the stock fuel pump should be enough. Does anyone have a guess on what this could be?
Thanks Tom

The stock fuel pump is the weakest link in the fuel system. Some were 88lph, mine was 95lph, but anyways, it will run out first.

I think it may have more to do with other parts. Where is you TPS set? It should be around .998V's, the tps tells the computer where the throttle is so it can make adjustments. If this was wrong, you step on the gas and the car thinks it's still closed, so it takes it longer to compensate, because afterall, the older car's computers were quite slow.

the tps is set correctly around .998 volts and its close to 5 volts with the throttle wide open.

What about the MAF? If my MAF gets disconnected or the CIA falls off, it does alot of hesitation and stuttering. Stupid Moroso, it's too short for the C&L.

I agree its the maf, you are Mass air right? since i dont see anything in ur sig. Im assuming u r since u have 24lb injectors. I would put on the stock injectors and maf (or if u have a C&L change the sample tube). 24lbers are pretty big with stock heads, cam, etc. anyway
