So yea....u guessed it right. Still no final decision on what car to get next

Im completely eliminated the idea of a big SUV.

I THINK i've narrowed it down to 01-02 CLK 430 or a 01-02 WS6.......

I like the luxury feel/look of the CLK...but im scared as hell of repair costs. The trans am will still give me that unique/muscle car feel i had with my previous mustang, but i feel like its more likely to break.

Im trying to keep it ~$15k or less. I briefly thought about a caddy STS(01-03) since i love their tech-filled interior, but the exterior just doesnt satisfy me.

I also thought about a vette.....or 350z....and it seems like those ar about $20k for a decent one. Along with the G35.

So! Im confused. lol

What do u guys think about buying a 70,80k mile CLK for $15k? It juts seems so hard to do since i paid $6500 for a mustang with 60k on the clock the last time i bought a car.....

i guess i'd sell you my stang for $15K. i have put almost $20k into it in the last year, and it still needs paint and seats, but i doubt i'll get that much for it. i hate to have to sell it, but if i have to sell it, i'd rather keep it in the family.

I dont have any specific picks. Just those CLK's in general....

And i could build another 94-95....but i dont know. I dont think it will be good to start a modified mustang trail cause im so used to things going wrong. Its just kinda scary i guess thinking back to how many issues i ran into.

my personal bias says that one of these will be much more fun than the 'passenger's car' you're considering

Not exactly the same car, but same engine, I had a 2001 e430, the v8 had a lot more go than the v6, and the gas mileage was 1mpg difference (no kidding). For the price I would go with the 430, however the 320 has a better resale (not more value but more people looking to buy them). I had the 430 for sale for a loooonnnnnggggg time before it finally sold, and my sisters 320 sold in a week, and the guy looked at both cars.

I would imagine a 2000 S4 should be in your price range. twin-turbo V6 with 250 hp 260 tq, and capable of much higher. Comes standard with AWD and many other goodies.

Basically it's a luxury sports car. In my opinion, faster and safer than the CLK.

I own a 1990 Coupe Quattro which is a far throw from the S4 I've mentioned. Different chassis/engine/quattro. But I love mine, and I must say the build quality is top-notch.

Audi is an awesome car, but beware of cost of maintainance.... The projector lights are a small mint to have fixed. Not to bad as far as reliability, but like I said if they do break.......
