Yeah it will up the compression ratio a tad. You can still run a conservative ammount of PSI or N02 if that is a consern of yours. A notch is a great platform for a toy. It is lighter and stronger than a hatch which is one thing to look out for. One of the biggest perks of a fox vs LS1 is we can make up for the lack of cubes with how much less they weigh. Once you start inching into their weight class it really starts to show... Then again 650hp.... hehe. It really is subjective. Choose a body style you like because you are gonna be driving it. Power comes with whatever extra money you pour into it.

You say you have approx 4000 to work with? My suggestion would be to try to find something like a mexican block if you want to stay with a 302 based stroker motor.....or do what i SHOULD have done and put yourself together a 351 based motor (stronger blocks, if you want to see for yourself , look at the difference in the size of the main caps on a 302 compared to lets say a 69-74 35 and they will be more street friendly than a high compression/reving smaller 302 based motor.....night and day difference! All the numbers are hearsay on when the factory blocks break though! I think it would be kinda neat for everyone who has broken a factory block to post the power range/times they were running so we can get some what of a stangnet average. I think its a crapshoot personally some go a longways some go boom instantly! Then you get into all the block seasoning stuff such as 100,000 Plus mile blocks are better for buildups.....grouting etc..
