well it looks like im steppin into the world of mustangs.....but i got a problem....first off heres what i bought....

1995 mustang gt
yellow with 3 inch cowl hood
89,000 miles
chrome cobra r rims w/ kumho tires
cobra front brakes.
alumn trick flow heads- tfs stage 1
e cam
1.72 roller rockers
cobra intake manifold
msd 6al
shorty headers to off road h pipe to flowmasters
alumn driveshaft
24lb mass air with 24lb injectors
steeda short throw shifter
new 5 speed trans
ford motorsport 4.10 gear
new centerforce clutch

now here's the problem.....the car only runs 13.60's...what are your guys' thoughts.....do you think it could be because the computer system is un-touched? well i'll be on here a lot tryin to learn as much as possible so help me out!

Sweet car you picked up....got all the goodies already...

13.6 aint half bad....is that what you ran or what the guy did??? I'm sure theres more in it.. lot depends on the state of tune, how it hooks...all kinds of chit....

he said he got a 1.8 60'........which in my opinion is good on street tires.....i basically just wanna get the car looking clean and get it to where it should be (1/4 mile) and then slap a turbo on it.....

im guessin the first thing i need to do is that PIH computer swap.......im tryin to learn more about that......

with a 1.8 60', and those mods, you should be seeing low, low 13's AT LEAST!!

he must of shifted at 4k rpms

by the way, do you have pics, also where do you live in illinois, i'm from davenport Iowa (right on the mississippi, quad cities)

I wouldn't worry much about the ET, what I really need to know is the trap speed as THAT will tell you what kind of power it is making and whether or not its down.

BTW- WELCOME!

Oh yea, welcome to the Dark Side of the Force!!!! LOL I agree, your trap speed will tell a lot about what the car could run in elapsed time.

Sounds like a real nice stang! Welcome to the boards. The ET does sound a little low for those kind of mods but more info is needed, i.e. trap speed, track elevation, temp, etc.

welcome and good puchase i'm sure with some tuning you will be in the 12's that hood is huge .

95 isnt DOHC.......and i hope with some tuning it would be in the 12's....that would be awesome.....

Running properly, that combo is good for easy 12's. With 1.8 60' times, it should already be there.

I was referring to the two cams that you have listed in your sig. The E-Cam and the TFS stage1. I know the 5.0 isn't dohc
