just curious about your roll bar. Would it be possible to get some closer shots centered around the bar and where it mounts. Im also curios as to where you got it from and how much it ran. Thanks

You need a roll bar and a helmet for any convertible going 13.99 or faster on an NHRA track. I've heard something about fire extinguishers too, but I don't know when you "need" one of them. Common sense tells you to carry one though.

here are the only pics I could grab as the car is hibernating for winter.

Why is it that when you attach files they no longer pop up??? these are brand new pics that I have never attached and they didn't show up. I had to click on ym attachments and it brought them up in their window, I then copy and pasted the links... hopefully this will work

Bug in the recent beta update of vb3, I know, it bugs me too, bu we have to wait for the final release for a fix as it's a sporadic (read most of the time) problem.

Thanks for the update!

Hillie, I think I was in your neck of the woods this weekend. I worked at my old job this weekend to make some extra cash and I was in Zelienople (sp) at the UPS location near there. Aren't you near there?

Thanks... I guess! That is why I have to keep on my tows to keep raising the bar! I swore I was done "chasing ET" once I hit 12.5, but since I went past that a good ways I can't stop now until I see if an 11.99 is in my cards. Its NOT going to be easy, and I don't really think the car can do it as is, but I'm sure as hell going to try!!! I'm guessing it will go 12.2-12.1 this year with the subtle changes I've made.

Yeah, I was planning on trying to compete with you this summer but someone backed into me so Im upgrading the front a little so it set me back. I was gonna try to go with the stock short block but I think Im gonna just stert with a stroker and work my way up and then on to boltons. Defenately shooting for the summer of 2005 now, But you'll probably running 10's by then so I can always hope to be as fast as you.

And one question about the roll bar to keep the tech part of my post.

How is it held down. Is it just bolted or welded. Is the carpet just folded out of the way. And what was involved mounting it enbetween the side rest and the seat?

Thanks

The pops is looking into buying a welder for me I figure It could be a good place to start with some subframes as well. Now alls Ill need is a pipe bender and Ill be fabbin a nice little twin turbo setup.

Is there any NHRA approved 4-point that looks like the CDC lightbar cosmetically. That is the only lightbar/rollbar that I like the look of, but it serves no safety function.
