Thanks bimmer, I respect that your honest opinion. Ive been having second thoughts about the lt1 again.. ill never make up my mind lol

Agreed. I'd only take a 4.6 over the 5.0 if it was the 32V Cobra engine. Totally bad@$$.



If you like the body style of the Camaro .... get one. More power to ya'. But, personally, I hate the way they look. The body style that Aaron's brother has was the last body style that looked good, IMO. The 93-97's are hideous (traded one in for our Focus ). 98-02's are a little better, but still not the greatest.

And on the fuel economy thing .... get a car for that. A beater if you have to. Mustang's & Camaro's usually don't go well when looking for 30+ MPG, lol. You'll regret it later on if you don't ...... because you won't be able to mod the car without sacrificing that part.

BTW, not only are 5.0's easier to work on than 4.6's .... they're easier than the LT1's, too. Half the engine is behind the freakin' firewall!!!
