No pics yet but I got my booster in finally. Not just in the mail but in the car. I am in the process of bleeding it right now.... but I rounded off a bleeder screw (after 100+ bleedings how can you not) so I am on my way to buy a replacement now. Thank goodness for 24hour autozones. I will get some pics up tomorrow since it is dark out now. Hope to get it aligned either tomorrow or monday.

Dude I was just thinking about you wondering if you ever got your Booster. I am glad you have it installed now and will be changing out that Bleeder Screw. I hope you set the Booster Push Rod prior to your install. Looking forward to hearing that everything is feeling great with the Car!

yeah..... about that rod screw..... how do you set that? I set it out 1 1/2 turns but I don't think that was enough as it was all the way in when I pulled it out of the box. I think I need to go a few more turns out. I think I still have air in the brakes as well. But I will get a hand bleeder in the morning and that should take care of that end. The pressure bleeder is no good. (not jrichters but another one).

There is a great write up on Maximum Motorsports on setting the Depth of the Rod. You just need to take a few measurements and plug it into a simple formula. BTW a pressure Bleeder works awesome, just make sure it fits TIGHT on the reservoir or you will get a mess!

Yeah, I really don't want to shell out the cash for a pressure bleeder. Homemade or otherwise. I have had great success with a hand pump one. The one I have works off my air compressor and pulls the air but it pulls to fast and doesn't work well

I am dying here.... for some reason I cannot bleed all the air out of my system (or something else is wrong). I have gone through 3- 32 oz bottles of brake fluid and the pedal still goes to the floor. Only thing that isn't brand new is the dman rear calipers but the pedal still shouldn't be going to the floor like it is. I don't get it. I have solid fluid from all 4 corners. Air must be trapped somewhere in there. I have no fluid leaking from anywhere..... any ideas please post them in the tech thread....

The rear lines usually trap air, you can stick a hose on them and crack the bleeder screws overnight and let gravity do its thing, you can also try tapping on the rear Calipers while bleeding. You may try the old fashioned way of bleeding brakes too by having someone pump the brakes for you and build pressure then open your bleeder screw.

wouldn't that just drain my lines completely leaving it open over night? how would that be any better than the manual method. I have tried pretty much everything but the gravity bleeding. open to any ideas at this point. it would cost $60 to have it bled by a shop.

When I gravity bled my System I put tight fitting clear tubing on all 4 bleeder screws and then put them in bottles with a little fluid in each bottle, cracked the bleeders open and filled the system with fluid and let it sit overnight. When I came out the next day the fluid was down but was not empty, it helped to get fluid going through the rear lines, I pressure bled it and then manually bled it after that with a friend as I still had air trapped in the Front D/S Line.

very common for air to get trapped in the stock PV too. I just put a pressure bleeder on and then cracked the fittings in the top of the stock PV and a good amount of air came out. Also, make sure you tap on all the calipers with a block of wood and a hammer to help get any trapped air out. In the case of the sn95 rear calipers, I have heard that many will just remove the caliper from the bracket when bleeding so that the bleeder valve is a 12 o'clock position. Good luck.
