Most of you know that I have a couple stangs for sale. I put them on the classifieds here on Thursday night and had a buyer within about ten minutes for the 91 GT.

Actually had someone offer me a 98 Cobra for the other two foxes, but I'm trying to make room for other projects and don't need another driver.

So anyways, dude drove like 4 hrs to get here, brought the family too. His kids got to play with my dog for a while. He looks like he already loves this car as much as I do, I think it's the color. I tried to list every problem the car had in the add so anybody interested would not be surprised when they saw it. One thing I forgot was the car not having a trunk latch. I had not been able to find it when I switched hatches a couple years ago. That hatch is from an early 80's stang and it's not the same as the 91 latch I had for the car. So I never really worried about it because I have the 79 Capri RS in the wharehouse at work and figured I could run up and grab the latch off it, throw it on this car and all would be fine. So I get back here with it this morning and find out that someone must have changed the hatch out on that car cuz it's a newer style latch. So I was bummed and I offered to take $200 off the price of $3500. Mike didn't feel comfortable with that and told me to keep $100 of it. So I sold it to him for $3400 with the Convo Pros on it (I was advertising $3500 firm with Pony's).

I was hoping if I could only find buyers for 2 of the 3 that the 91 GT would be the one nobody wanted but it left first and I miss it already (I'll miss them all!). I forgot ot ask his username, but he is a memeber here. I hope he sees this and responds. Hope he makes it home without any problems. Many of you know I bought that car to be an FFR donor and did not drive it much. This will be it's longest trip in years. I don't think he'll have a problem. I would have trailered it to him if I thought it wouldn't make it.

Anyways, sorry for the long pointless story. I think I like my car better than the stack of cash sitting here. Oh well, there's more cars downstairs! And I'll be getting my FFR on Tuesday, and if I can get rid of two more cars I will have room to bring in the 91 vert that I was asked to paint. Car is badazz! runs mid 9's on motor (no power adders).

I guess now I'll have to change my sig, again.

I'm so sorry. You are a strong man for letting it go. I couldn't do it. ...

*cries*

But you still have the 4-eyed freak?

I did not want to see that car go, and it wasn't even the GOOD one. I don't know what I'll do if someone comes and want's the 4-eye. I'll definately have to leave first so I don't see it going away.

But I do have plans and too many toys, so.......

Well, I'd say good luck but I honestly don't want to see the 4-eyed go. That car is BEAUTIFUL and I fell in love the first time I saw it.

That's why mine STAYS. I'm putting it in storage at my parents house this weekend. That's going to be hard enough. I couldn't imagine selling it.

I have floor space for 6 cars. My 88 LX and 80 Capri are in the basement in various states of assembly, or disassembly. The 4-Eyed Freak and my vette live in the front garage. And the FFR Cobra will be taking up both spots in the garage out back as soon as it get here this week. The 93 LX, 88 F150, and Murano are in the driveway. It's a really big driveway. In true redneck spirit, my Maverick is on the deck out back.

My problem is I want/need to paint a couple cars and I do that where the FFR will be. One of the cars I've been asked to paint is in the June issue of 5.0, in one of the little write-ups in the back. It's a 91 LX vert with a carb'd 408, runs mid 9's. The pic is wheels up, from the front, looking at the bottom side. I want to paint it badly but have to make room.

Anybody wanna buy a stang?

The person commenting (in the classified add) about the 4eye is Mike, the guy who took my 91 GT.
