Today i bought my wife an 07 GT Premiun manual. Man this thing is fun. Its hard for me to believe they got 300hp out of the 4.6L. I remember when folks where telling me that they had done pushed the 5.4L as far as it could go when in 04 they got 300hp out of it. I reckon nobody ever paid attention to the 99 360 hp Lightings.
Anyways I cant find the search engine. I'm wondering whats the recipe to spice this thing up. We really liked the ROUSH, but it was just out of reach. I dont want to turn this GT into a roush look alike. We're considering a charger or/and a sct tuner. Any body here running a sct tuner? Whatcha think about it?

Going to need a CAI (if you plan on not going with a charger), SCT or Diablo tuner, and some exhaust work.

If you want a charger that is warrantied but tops out at around 425rwhp, get the ROUSHcharger. If you want a really good looking charger that tops out around (I think) 500rwhp get the Saleen supercharger. If you want a charger that would be well beyond what you need, get a Kenne Bell or FRPP Whipple charger. The FRPP will put out more power but you can't get over 500rwhp without going with forged internals because the connecting rods in our motors are pretty weak.
