Hi Guys. My valve geometry looks like the one in this link. Help?

It looks a SLIGHt bit overloaded but it is showing close to center (SEE STEP #6). Is this a big deal guys?? Or am I CLOSE ENOUGH..? Thks in advance.

I've been told that you shouldn't concentrate to much on having it perfectly centered, you want a narrow travel. So if it's a little long but the wear is narrow, you'll be fine. Now I'm not saying that you don't need it centered and narrowed, if you get both, then that's better, but between centered or narrow, go with narrow.

Are you running and adj. valvetrain or the ped. setup still?

I would say keep working on it. It looks close by the whole point is to get it were it needs to be.

Thanks 95!! Th travel in minimal. Good point. Yes I am running pedestal mount but new rockers.

That is fairly center. I played around with diff. shims to see if going up or down in shim would change it much. I found that it was about perfect with no shim on the stock rockers and the 60's with the 1.7's that I had a run a lash cap on top of the valve that added 60.

if going down or up with the next size shim move it drasticly your as close as your going to get it. I would just play with the shims to make sure.

I even went and used a caliper and measured some washers at the hardware store to see if I could get a shim "in the middle". It did not change it much so I left them out.
