I bought my first mustang yesterday after wanting one since I was a kid (I had an orange hot wheels 1965 mustang when I was a kid). I finally bought a real one. It's a 2008 Mustang GT. Traded in a brand new Edge that was left to us when a relative died. And, we negotiated a killer deal on it.

So, let the mods begin!

I ordered a painted Shelby GT500 spoiler.

on the list:

CAI and tune
New wheels and tires (possibly Bullitt or Shelby Razors)
New Stereo System (at least new speakers and amps)
Chin Spoiler
Tinted Tail lights and fog lights

Here's my other toy (a 1973 Ford Bronco):

Cool. Welcome aboard.

As far as the stereo, you may want to upgrade the deck first. When I installed my Pioneer FH-8000B, the sound quality improved dramatically, plus it looks great and has built-in iPod controls.

Welcome!
Nice car with a decent set of mods started. I too, quickly ditched the 17" Bullitts as they are too plain:notnice: I don't believe the Bullitts are overdone as they are very fitting with our cars. Either way, you can't go wrong using black with polished lip deep dish.
Nice Bronco as well:nice:

Hi there, hey there, were as happy as can be. That from the old Micky Mouse club ha ha. Welcome, I love those old bronco's. You have the best of both worlds, you have the street covered as well as the trails. GO FORD!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Mustangs! You're going to love driving that pony. I really like your Bronco :nice: That is my favorite body style Bronco and I especially like them with the rear fender cut-outs and flares like you have. They should have come that way from the factory in the first place.

Thanks for the welcome!

I have a question (that should probably be asked somewhere else). Is it just me, or is the turn signal flasher kinda loud in the mustang? Mine seems unusually loud, and kinda cheap sounding.

Welcome and that Bronco looks in good shape. I am a lil curious tho, how did the Edge drive? :)

It drove ok, actually. But it just seemed confused, like it was trying to be a truck, but wanted to be a mini-van. Plus, the gas mileage wasn't great. I averaged 19 on a 150 mile highway trip. It didn't drive bad, but I love the mustang.

My bronco has a 302 with an edelbrock intake and a 4bbl carb, and has hedman elite headers and flowmasters. It's got power, and you can definitely hear it coming!

The signals ARE QUITE LOUD, but after 54K miles in my car there are times I don't even hear them(sitting still and no stereo on):rlaugh:

So now you have both a Bronco AND a Mustang:nice:
