As many of you know I have been looking for another fox body. I made a decision and went to pick one up yesterday. Drove it home with no probs at all. Great solid car. Bone stock engine compartment. Only thing about the car I am not keen on is the aod,But it is a Art Carr. It will stay till it pisses me off. Here is the public debut of what will come to be known as the Vanilla Gorilla.

I have a bit of a infatuation with speed. So this bone stock engine compartment just can't be tolerated. I had been in contact with a racer that was having cash flow problams. So my brother and I went for a visit today. I'm not sure what happened. I have not been followed home by this much crap in a very very long time. The quality of crap was high tho

Not a bad haul for one day. Also got a set of equal length headers and an aluminum drive shaft. The best part of all is the wifey gave the thumbs up to all of it

No, It has 95 spindles and a whole 95 rear in it. If you look in the pic's there is a mach 1 brake kit(13") The wheels are 4 lug the car is not. The aluminum flywheel was picked up today as well. This car has a Art Carr AOD. I may have another build in the works. But if that falls through, I still got a good deal on everything. The Mickeys on those wheels have one pass on them. The heads, rockers ,pushrods, and flywheel all had 1000 miles on them.

why did you buy four lug draglites if your car is five lug, you havent answered ryans obvious question as to why you bought them in the first place if you cant use them. I dunno its nice, but i was hoping you went for the capri.

The Welds were bought for the 86 GT that we had laying around. Plus a 308 shortblock. If something happens and bkcauley doesnt make the venture from Georgia to pick the car up, its the car we gave to him, we are going to build it. If he does get it i still have a 4 lug 92 LX hatch to put the Welds on. They will be used one way or the other.

IMO - if you want the ram air style get the one that actually fits the looks & lines of the Fox Body.

I like the name "Vanilla Gorilla"

I think this hood flows better. It is rounder and so is the front of the car. The ram air hood looks great on the four eyes because they are so squared off. I just never cared for them on the 87-93.
