Here’s one flipped for your reference.
Keep in mind you will be able to purchase just the lower and there are plenty of guys that make nice lids. (417 motorsports below)

Probably the same info you already posted up-but it’s in pic formHmmmmm, that may be a little too into the cowl, was afraid of that.

Yes they include the rails. The $770-850 price range will likely cover a couple throttle body sizes as well as bare aluminum and black finish like what’s on my car.so two more questions im hoping someone can answer:
where are these things cast/machined? i havent seen a whole a lot of holley made in usa advertising (unlike edelbrock), so it begs the question of c.o.o.
will the $770 price tag include the fuel rails? do they send the rails with the lsx version?
Like fake news only 'fake views'?want it to look like a normal 12-13 second bolt-on fox instead of the hopefully high9/low10 it should be).
. also don't want to go with the massive cowl so its not as obvious what kinda power the thing will be packing (want it to look like a normal 12-13 second bolt-on fox instead of the hopefully high9/low10 it should be).
did some more measuring today, looks like the max i'll have over the distributor hole is 10-11"unless of course the 2.5-3" cowls hoods are actually that much taller in the front than a stocker (im guessing my current 1.5" is only about 1/2-3/4" higher that far forward?).
whats weird is i could probably fit a milled box-r, which is overall taller than this holley, just further back. i think it would work turned around though, would just put the t/b in the actual cowl/firewall, which for nhra/class rules i dont want to eff with. also don't want to go with the massive cowl so its not as obvious what kinda power the thing will be packing (want it to look like a normal 12-13 second bolt-on fox instead of the hopefully high9/low10 it should be).
Why do you think I have that hood and tinted windows.......I need a hood like that so you can't see my ugly mug through the windshield

Why? You planning on giving me a ride? Why do you think I have that hood and tinted windows.......![]()

That was all assuming a 1" k spacer since I need one for header clearance anyway. Spacing the k will have 0 effect on steering or ground clearance since you're spacing the body UP, it's basically just like a body lift on a truck. The frame (subframe in this case) doesn't move relative to the ground, the body does. Only thing to really watch for is strut travel. You could always drop the k member a little Chuck.
But then that would cause the front suspension to have to come down respectively. Then possible rack offset bushings. That puts the exhaust closer to the ground.....
I really want to see this on a car here with a build thread....
Dangit....I see....carry on
More like sleeper, not that a fox mustang is really a good sleeper, but more towards that end of the scale.Like fake news only 'fake views'?
You also have a big-assed supercharger to cover up and are racing in some of the bigger events. Mine will just be an n/a street car that can go racing and not embarrass myself at stuff like true street and drag week, and maybe get a little grudge racing action. There are a lot of folks who think a big cowl Mustang is just for show. I showed up with my car at the drags and was going through Tech inspection and a guy came up to me and told me he had a pair of SFI pants that might fit me if I was interested....once I got my car "fast enough". I laughed and told him it was OK, I was already set. He had no idea how fast my car really is, to him it was a Mustang with a big assed hood pretending to be something it was not. Needless to say, it is much quicker than what he was driving...lol
