Well i went out with my buddy tonight and he has a Mculik (sp???) HID kit on his 98 Tahoe. And i want one. man can you see great with those things.

So who makes the best kit for mustangs???

Im debating HID's as well for my stang. They just make the car look really clean and crisp.

I hear they make HID fog lights as well. It owuld be overkill, but at least it would all match

If it has a 9007 style HID bulb it cam be. Grab the bulb, wiring, ballasts and it should be an easy swap

I think 97-98 Mark 8's had a 9007 style bulb. I'll have to recheck

I have the 7000K kit, and I'm never going to own a car with halogen bulbs EVER again. Mine start up purple, then warm up to the purest white I've ever seen, better than that of what comes on luxury cars. I've compared the beams to my dad's Escalade, and other things like Acuras I see on the road....the light from their HID's almost looks yellow compared to mine.

How hard was the install from 1-10? Are you happy with the 7000k or do you wish you had gone with the 5200k or other kit? Thanks :nice:

It was about a tenth. :)

Hell no, I love the 7000K...especially when they start up. My friend has the same kit on his Civic Si, but they look a lot more purple than mine. Maybe it's my smoked lenses vs. his clear ones.
