HID projectors

Has anyone bought the HID Projection headlights from stangmods?

I've done a search and no one can tell me if they have or haven't bought this particular one. I was most worried about condensation and how to fix it. Thanks

Well, this is the housing i see in the pics.
Its ugry if u ask me. I seen a several guys at the carlisle this year that had them. It rained that morning. every single one of them i saw was fugged up. So.....

Will i think HID projecter is cool? yeah
Will i buy this kit? no

Those aren't really true HID projectors. They are halogen projectors that they are claiming are HID. They are similar but there are some subtle differences.....still it's better than an HID kit in stock housing.


They are ugly as sin though. I've seen some really nice custom made HID projector retrofits

I mean one of those HID kits that had a 9007 bulb that you put in your stock unmodded headlight. The ones that throw light everywhere all over the road and blind oncoming traffic

Bi-xenon projectors would be kickass. I plan on doing the same to my Fox.

Those are the headlights bought from stangmods. I've only seen 1 retrofit for our year cars (tazcobra), 1 on a 96-98 cobra (guido), and 2 in a fox.

i have heard a couple people complain that they made their HIDs a lot more dim than they were in the stock housings, and actually ended up getting rid of the projector housings.

Yep. I found one for $125. Its the one with metal sleeve slips as you flip high and low beam.
As soon as my car is fixed right, i'm gonna do that next
