So, for some time I had been driving without high beams due to some harness meltage caused by what I thought was a faulty control lever. So, after finally spotting a fox in the local junk yard and snagging it's wiper/light control and replacing the melted section of wiring harness, no more than two days later my fog lamps suddenly fail to work. After inspecting the fuses to find the one in question blown, I then proceeded to pop two more testing the lights. The F.L. switch had been replaced not long before the H.B. switch and harness went south...
Now, I'm suspecting there is something going on behind the scenes here, perhaps a lethal amount of current is fouling the light switches, but I'm at a loss to even know where to begin looking.
Any help with the matter would be greatly appreciated, I don't particularly like driving around with the potential of a forest fire beginning in my dash.
