For n/a:

High performnace n/a cams
Ported cylinder heads
Oversized valves with matching valve job
Aluminum 4.6ltr block with Big bore/stroke and high compression pistons
Full length exhuast
High flow intake

For supercharger, do the above with the exception of n/a cams, and go with blower cams instead, then add around the supercharger unit. The more psi, the more power you will make, but the more fuel you will be spending to make the power, and the more stress you put on the motor. The options are really only limited by the size of your wallet lol.

For a supercharger application, go with dished pistons for lower compression. This will allow you to run more boost and make more power. Also, longtube headers, O/R mid-pipe, and dumped straight-through mufflers.

If you have a 2valve pull it out, and put a 4valve in. j/k all the info so far is right on, all the bolt-on's, ported heads and a nice set of cams.
