i have an 01 gt that i am planning on building to the nuts! i think something to the tune of 800 hp with a hellion hellraiser twin turbo setup will be sufficient. anyways does anyone have a recomendation on a tranny/clutch? i would like to keep my manual. any info will be awesome.
Your best bet would probably be a Viper spec t56. As for clutches, my buddy is using a McCleod RST twin disc setup in his Whippled Cobra and its holding up very well. He is making just under 650rwhp.
I'm not seeing a Daily Driver in his future either, not at least with 800 HP's to to the rear wheel.
I'm wondering is there a way to bullet proof a stock transmission. You know, like forgeing an engine.
