My friend is looking at a 95 mustang gt with 150,000 miles on it.
Its a dead stock 5 speed teal gt with black cloth interior
ex. for a set of brand new 18inch chrome y2k's with brand new tires
he's asking 4500.00

The car sputters and the exsaust pops and the car runs very badly
we need to know if this could be the cats
or the fact there has been no tune up in over 30,000 miles
but the big question is

Is the car worth the money and will the motor hold on????

george i could call and tell you this, but willie tried to chip the car and scewed up the computer somehow royally. there is a video of him loosing to an 88 cavieler convertable with 3 peopl in it. somethin is messed up with it.......

Why do people try to sell cars that don't run well???

The seller should have gotten the car tuned and in proper working order. I'd offer him $2,000.00 and even then I'd have to think hard about it. There is no telling what is wrong and how long that car has been driven while in a bad condition.

i paid 4,800 for my car last year with 84,000 miles on it and VERY good shape. i wouldnt buy that car for that price at all. as stated above i would offer MAYBE 2k. the chrome y2ks are worth almost that.

I bought a 95 with leather interior 144k on it, about a month ago, runs really great after a enw balancer, needs a door hinge and a passenger mirror, other than that the cars all good, I only paid 3200 for the car. Offer him 3k for it see what he says, you can always fix it..

Id pass, the 5.0 is a very strong motor but only if its taken care of. If it hasent been tuned up for 30,000 then that tells you how it was treated. Id pass on that one and keep looking there are alot better deals out there.
