High MPH, High ET

I raced at the track all day Saturday and couldn't turn better than a 13.08 N/A. I had a mid MPH of 86 and trap at 106. The 106 was pretty consistent. From what I gather 106 is a high trap speed for such a high ET, anyone know how that works?

I'm not hugely concerned with remedying it by changing parts and whatnot since I'm swapping engines next spring, just kind of a WTF thing for me. Mods are in my garage.

what was your 60ft?

Actually, that's a great time with that MPH. Your only running about .1-.2 seconds slower than optimum.

I agree, it depends on the tires and 60' time. If thats on slicks with a 1.70 60' then it is a high mph for the time (or high time for the mph) but if thats on street tires with a 2.0 60' then its a good time for the mph. I personally was going 13.0s @ 106 all day with 2.0s, and then on slicks the car goes 12.5-12.6 all day with 105-106 traps and 1.70-1.75 60's!

Nah I had ET Streets with 60's in the 1.8's. I guess I just expected more from my combo. It was pretty hot out though. I really wanted into the high 12's n/a.
