The last time at the track, i was able to muster a 14.1 @ 99.1mph. Should i not be in the 13's with that trap speed?

My 60ft isnt bad i can usually do it around 2.1. What am i doing wrong?

oh

if you drop your 60 foot to a 2.0 you could see a 13.9..

my first time at the track I got a 14.0 with a 2.2..

You are about right. Get a little more traction and you can probaly get a 13.9, but that is about it. To solidly get in the 13's you need to be around 100+ mph. The best ET I have had with less then 100 mph was something like a 13.7@99.8mph.

I ran 13.89@101 mph, but my 60 ft. was terrible at 2.186 sec. I think the only reason I still broke 14 seconds was because of my trap speed.

By the way, nice ET's. I see you don't even have LT headers. Amazing.

I know how you feel. I can't seem to get into the 13s either. I am ordering some KB super subs and some LCAs in hopes to get better traction so that I can get into the 13s. I think that at just under 100mph, I should at least be 13.999 but I guess I have to work on my launch since my best 60ft is only 2.17. Hoping that the subs and LCAs will help me with that.

Good Luck,

Rich

Last time I was at the track I ran a 13.91 @ 99mph. My et still drops a little each time but I never get over 100mph. I figure it's not bad for a stock GT with only a K&N and T/A.

Man all of you guys were lucky I went to the track for the first time and could not hook up the tires (&*$@ Khumos), spun them from 1st to and through half of 2nd. My best was 16.15 @ 89. (2300ft in high desert) I was so freakin embarassed I left with my head down on the phone to see how much money I could spend before the next race. Next one here is on the 29th of april. I ordered a steeda T/A, MAC U/D's, 75mm Accufab TB, C & L Upper, and the end of march will get PI kit. And I'm trying to deside if I sould buy some DR's.....
