high volume oil pump?

I say do it while it's open that is always an awsome upgrade it will give the engine more longevity which is always a good thing. just my .02

NO! You don't have a higher displacement engine or any reason for a higher volume oil pump. It will move oil around faster, but that isn't neccessarily a good thing when you don't have a need for it. If your stock oil pump works fine, then please just keep it. You will crap a brick when your "brand new" high volume oil pump decides to retire early for no apparent reason. One of the best things my dad ever told me about cars was that "if it works now, it will probably work in the future. If it's brand new, who knows when it will work."

well you can replace it if you like nothing wrong with that. but dont go high volume with a stock pan because it does just what it says pumps a high volume of oil. all motors love to be drowned in oil for long life but the problem is with a stock pan the oil pump can actually pump all the oil out under high rpms thus not having the oil return fast enough you end up having no oil at all sometimes. i would leave it stock unless your changing the pan. most people that run after market oil pumps wheter it be high volume or pressure run larger oil pans
