High Volume Oil Pump

I am in the process of completing a PI headswap on a 96GT and while Im doing it Im replacing some older parts waterpump, injectors, and the Oil pump. I was wondering if FRPP's M-6600-D46 High Volume Oil Pump is ok to use? Someone told me it is too high volume for my stock bottom end

What is the truth?

you'll be losing power to turn the higher volume pump. Go with a billet standard pump and you'll be set to go.
