Hi, I replace the stock 99 gt pump with an airtex unit that flows more
Gallons Per Hour: 65-75
Pressure Rating: 100-120 psi

dose this affect my air fuel ratio, do i need a tune.

Does the new fuel pump interface with the fuel pump driver module (FPDM) to maintain fuel pressure as commanded by the PCM? If yes, no tune is needed.

If the fuel pressure is increased, then a new tune is needed.

all i did was replace the stock pump with the Airtex unit is the fuel pressure regulated not by the pump on my car but instead by a sensor on the fuel rail or what

"Airtex"? Did you use p/n E2301M? Why did you replace it?

Anyway, the PCM controls fuel pressure. It senses the pressure in the fuel rail and alters how hard the fuel pump is driven by signaling the fuel pump driver module (FPDM).

E2301M is the hat basket and pump all i needed was the pump the car runs good i just didn't know if it should be running stronger if the new pump could throw off my a/f mixture or not from what you say it is not, correct?
