Is the boot around the booster rod/brake pedal supposed to have holes in it for any reason? I tracked my hissing to a hole in the rubber boot under the dash around the brake assembly. I have never looked at any others to know if this is a problem or not.

BTW, my pedal is soft, but I just think I need to re-bleed my brakes.

+1 for the booster. Mine did this on my 83 5.0. You'll end up having manual brakes here soon.

Never! lol. She's resting quietly in the garage, still getting her beauty sleep from winter. Haven't brought her out this year yet.
