My power steering is very tough when i move slowly and that had to happen... Anyway the damage is only to the lip of the rim.. thank god.
Still it's pissing me off, you guys know if it's expensive to repair a chromed rim ?

heres a pic..was taken last night with flash in the chrome, very hard to take in pic but you get the idea.. look at the lip.. it's like that on 1/3 of it.

Might be cheaper and easier to buy a new wheel.... Steel would have to be added back to the wheel and then trying to balance after it was re-chromed would be the worst part. Just my .02

In my opinion, it does look THAT bad. if you're strapped for cash, just clean up the jagged edges a little with a dremel and a polishing bit, and you probably wouldn't be able to tell unless you look closely.

I feel your pain. I hit a curb a few weeks back that scratched about 1/4 of the lip on the passenger's side front. Whenever I get around to it, I'll run the polishing bit on the demmel over it and see if it hides it any. As it is now, you don't notice it unless you're looking for it, but it still bothers me.

The day I bought my rims I put them on my tire machine, I proceeded to scratch the S&^t out of them..
