well i am going to the track here soon for the first time with the methanol. we shall see hw she does. i dont think its going to go to well though lol. still the same drs from last season that are pretty much shot and still on the stock clutch at 84k on it hahaha. so ill most likely be making the clutch cry tonight and have to shift really really slow into 2nd cause right now you slam it to the floor and she spins like its on ice in 2nd hahaha.

hopefully i can heat them good for about 2 runs at least tonight. i wanna see if i can break a 7.5 or at least improve my trap

I'll be hitting the track for the first time tonight since putting the blower on over the winter. I'll be running on 275/35ZR18 street tires, so I don't expect much, but I need to practice for a street car challenge I'll be competing in next week where slicks are not allowed.

EDIT: 7.49 @ 95 mph is really booking! That equates to a 11.7 @ 117 mph in the quarter. Nice 60' also! I'll be happy if I'm in the low 12s tonight, but I'm not expecting it at all. I predict a 12.5 will be the best of the night.

good luck man. I am really gonna push this car before i add an mmr block so i wanna see if i can get 6s on a stock motor lol or its gonna blow up trying so in a few weeks 14lbs will be coming on meth and race gas.

ha i could only manage a 7.9 with the motor heat soaked and the bald nittos not wanting to hook hahaha. my first run was an 8.0 and when i grabbed 2nd it spun and was going sideways till it hit the limiter hahaha

my buddy could only get an 8.1 out of his turbo fox with a 2.2 60 so he let me drive it and i would have went 7s with it easily if i didnt miss 2nd hahaha

he has 275 mickeys on it but it was my first time driving the car but it still went 8.1 with a 1.95 60 missing 2nd and trapping 96 lol turbo cars are kind of tough to drive because when i shift it drops out of boost.

oh well ill do better next week lol its gonna be 14psi next week with race gas and meth. yes i know the tires will cry more most likely but im gonna really drop the tire pressure and murder the clutch on the way out of the hole

6's on nittos is a tall task. Can't wait to see what you get with the new block.

BTW, I'm sure I have asked you this, but you are you from Stafford Texas? I didn't think so as we are flooded.

na man stafford virginia lol. yea i am looking at the mmr stoker 950 motor and getting the new manifold from modular powerhouse and adding a good size shot of spray lol.

we will see how she holds together on the stock block though. just curious to see what i can do with it. so far my car has treated me well by lasting tons and tons of passes at the track and beating on it regularly and spraying tons of nitrous including a 200 shot and then now boosting it.

hahaha yea should be interesting. she has treated me well since i bought her back in 2004. poor thing was sitting on the lot for a year cause nobody wanted the old style mustang they were waiting for the s197s to come out. i rescued her and now she is turning into a beast lol
