I figured I should join a forum where I can turn to a community for help when I need it while building my Fox.

My parents bought my first car for me when I was 16 and it was an 85 notchback with a 4 cylinder backed with a 4 speed slowest car I owned. Well it's 14 years later and I finally got my hands on another Fox. I just ordered a whole floor pan along with the seat brace as well. I'll post some pictures soon, I'm off all next week and plan on finishing the floor next week. I'll be needing some pointers for how to do this as it will be the biggest project I've taken on. Mainly if I need to brace the body while cutting the floor out.

The Fox I have now is a 91 Lx and I plan on dropping a 460 in it this year, still not sure what I want to do as far as the transmission but I'm pretty stuck on a true manual. There's just something about slamming gears I like.

Cool story, i also had my first 84 GT when i was 16. If you anything like me, you felt 16 when you got back into driving that 91 right ? Good choice, fox body's rock. Can't wait to see pictures. Cheers !

Thanks Dustin, maybe I should've waited to order all that stuff, I'll have to remember that for next time.

SF Lex Yeah I went with my son to pick it up and he absolutely loved it on the way back may only be a four cylinder but anything can get sideways in gravel. It brought back lots of memories. Pulling it out to the driveway tomorrow. Still have to pull a bunch of stuff out from inside before I start cutting.
