Think verts pillers are thicker as well.... either way its not like it matters if you wanna do it... just cage... and through the floor subframes... if you know enough to make it work right... you will have no problem doing a nice set of through the floors... all you would have to do is cut a marked section from your current roof... reinforce the remaining metal and the cut piece... mount some tabs... to lock it in to... and buy some weatherstripping for it.... hell you can even use lockable hood pins to hold it down... mounted in side the car or on the top its self... if i had a shell sitting around id try it just to say i did it... i mean i dont consider my self any sort of fabricator.... but you could make it work...
