Hole Or No Hole In Throttle Butterfly

I have a 93 5.0 with the 96 explorer upper and lower intake, gt40p heads and supposedly a x303 cam. The throttle body appears to be a ford stock unit. The butterfly has a hole in it. I think the throttle body is from the 96 explorer. The aftermarket ones I have been looking at do not have a hole in them. What should I have. Car also has a granitelle mas and 24 lb injectors.

I got a explorer tb sitting on the bench. I'll double check but I don't believe it has holes.

I did the same swap from a 96 Exploere. Mine has a small hole in the butterfly.

The two times I've used an exploder tb I've had to block off the hole with either jb weld or quicksteel. Otherwise I couldn't get the car to idle low enough.

The real question here is......is there a problem with the way it's running? If not.....leave it alone and drive the thing. Hole in the throttle body be damned!
