Has anyone fitted an Autometer Water temp guage in the front of a Holley Systemax II lower intake? I tried to, it wouldn't seal, and threw water out!!

Can anyone help?? Also, what is the correct part no for the guage, just incase I have the wrong one!!

Is is a mechanical or electrical gauge? Mechanical you need an adapter for the temp probe to seal against. Electrical you can just screw into the intake with teflon tape.

Yes, its the mechanical guage!! Its the adapter I need!! It leaks water out of the top of the probe, because it has nothing to seal against!!

Does anyone know the part no of the adapter? :SNSign:

No idea of the part number, but most parts stores around here have them. Try calling Autometer.
