Hey all,

Well I attempted to rebuild a carb. It didnt work So I got prices for a couple of new models but I have a choice between Holley and Edlebrock. Which brand would you suggest. I have already decided to go 4v because of the HI PO 4v manifold I have on my 302 cid engine. Im good at everything but carbs

need advice

Thanks

Oh yeah the care is a daily driver but I want a little punch

I would suggest an edelbrock 600 cfm. They are a lot easier to tune and user friendly. They make for better gas mileage and driveability IMO.

both carbs are good ines, but i prefer the edelbrock for the street. there are more adjustments for the edelbrock which makes it easier to tune the fuel curve, but the holley is actually easier to tune since it is mostly changing jets and/or metering blocks.

edelbrocks have got pretty good, they usually run better out of the box than a holley and get better economy for a daily driver they are great, for a race car or lots of quick turns they are not and a holeey or demon would work better.
